Purposely put no title to this entry.. simply cos i dunno how to name it

I spent my weekend with a busy schedules  On Saturday, did some clean up with my clothes and house. Then when I was about to go to the hypermart for some groceries, a very heavy rain suddenly poured down  Had to wait til about 7 pm, and it was still a lil bit drizzles, but ah! nevermind.. had to go anyway..

So went to Vivo city for some groceries.. Bought 2 sets of bed sheets for $20 each.. Learnt from here and here that the higher a thread count of the sheets, meaning the softer it will be.. Mine are about 200 thread count.. so well.. not bad eh

Spent whole sunday lazying around  went to have dinner at Kaffir & Lime Paragon Orchard, a new concept developed by Thai Express Restaurant. I ordered the Soft-shell crab glass noodle.. It is said that the Thai-boxer must eat this dish everytime they're about to attend the competition.. I chose it simply cos the menu stated that it is a very peppery dish, and a must-try! Fred ordered Seafood Tom Yum with rice, and we also ordered a Beef Lime salad, as a side-dish...

Verdict:

1. The soft-shell crab is yummy..!!! and the glass noodle is indeed peppery, and served hot in a Thai-style hotpot. Though it is indeed delicious, I don't think it's worth a second try.. Basically nothing more is inside it.. You'll only find the glass noodle, the soft-shell crab, 3 (yeap!! 3 pieces) of shiitake, lottttssssss of gingers and garlics, and thats all !!

2. The beef lime salad, is a must try!!!! the beef is soooo tender, and juicy, and soooo addictive.. The salad leaves itself is just a so-so though.. but the beef OMG..!!!

3. Fred's Seafood Tom Yum is also very nice!! The whole package is just flawless..

Back home, Fred did some laundry  and also folded some dry clothes

hmm... whats next ... hmm... Oh ok, let me tell you about my 1st anniversary dinner celebration.. Fred and I celebrated our 1st anniversary of this relationship on Sept 10, and we decided to have dinner at the same place 1 year ago.. which is Timbre.. anyway.. enjoy the pics.. (Fred a bit drunk eh?  haha the face was so RED)

yeap.. I did something good this morning.. So I was walking from MRT to my office. My office is located at 5-minute walking distance area around MRT, and I have to walk everyday, cos it is faster than taking the shuttle bus. Besides, oh come on, it's only 5 minutes away

When I reached the office area, and started to walk to the second building, from a far,  I saw a cleaning guy. I always meet this man every morning, cleaning the front area of the building, with his shirt tuck in neatly, and also clean shiny shoes. He dresses well, even though he is only a cleaner, and that impressed me

Then 1 thought suddenly popped out in my mind. Is there anyone who say thank you to this man, for being this neat, clean, and do his job punctually everyday? Is there actually anyone who realizes his presence?

People hardly show their gratitude toward others, no matter how good they are. People around me seldom show gratitude to my team, or whatever we've done, cos all they care is that we finish the job perfectly on time.

So while walking to the fron door, I kept thinking to myself, that a single word of Thank you, or Sorry, or Hello, will means a lot to someone, whoever he/she is. So, when I was about to reach the front door, before I opened the door, I walked to the cleaner man, stop a while until he saw me in the eyes, then I nodded my head a bit (cos he is a chinese man, and a bit old), and slowly said "Thank you" with a sincere smile.

I could see he's a bit surprised. But I didnt wanna wait long enough to see his reaction. I wanted to do this, for my own purpose. I didnt expect any return. So I turned to the door slowly, and walked slowly, cos I didnt want him to think that I insulted him. And I didnt look back.

Browsing around today, and found several cute stuffs (according to me )

1. wind chime
I think its cute to have a wind chime in my house, some time in the future  but then to think about the sound, it definitely will not soothing in the middle of the night.. esp when I need my precious sleep.. But if you consider the artistic part, hmm.. maybe i'll remove the bell?

2. drinking jar
I think i've mentioned about this jar once. The jar is just too cute, eh?

3. Christmas door sign
Always.. always... love it.. reminds me of christmas..
